Originally settled by various Germanic tribes around the sixth century AD, Germany eventually became part the the Holy Roman Empire. 💶 After the fall of the Holy Roman Empire following the Napoleonic Wars, the German Republic was formed when most of the German states united under the Prussian dominated German Empire. After World War One, Germany was punished harshly for its role in that war and suffered horribly during the 20's and 30's, this opened the door for the Nazi’s to seize power and trigger World War 2.
🗺️Divided into two separate countries after the war, East Germany and West Germany went their separate ways, until their reunification in 1990. Now one of the most powerful and influential countries in Europe, Germany has become a wealthy nation once again.
